Opening Monday – Thursday During Term-Time

Strider is a self-sufficient but non-profit making coffee shop. Our surplus funds are ring-fenced for local community projects.  At our first “Giveaway Day” that was held on Saturday 16th September, 5 local organisations received cheques to help with their ongoing projects.  If you know of a suitable organisation that you would like to nominate, please let us know.

Baby Changing facilities and Disabled access available.

We are open during the School term-time:

  • Monday: 8.45 – 11.30am
  • Tuesday: 2 – 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 8.45 – 11.30am
  • Thursday: 2 – 4.30pm
  • Friday: Closed

If you want us to open more often let us know.  We’d also love to hear from you if you have any ideas for special events or activities that could take place in the coffee shop.

Winning Roasts

We’ve spent a few sleepless nights as a result of sampling over a dozen different coffees to find the most pleasing roast and we’re happy to announce that we’ve finally come up with one we think will be a winner, whether you prefer a short espresso or a rich and creamy cappuccino.

The coffee shop is non-profit making and any surplus funds will be ring-fenced for future community projects.

Supporting ‘Park & Stride’

The coffee shop became more than an just an idea when Aberdeen City Council asked the church for permission to use its car park as a “Park and Stride” facility for parents dropping their children off at Greenbrae Primary School.  As a church we gladly offered our space and ‘Striders’ became a reality.

This is Bridge of Don’s coffee shop and it’ll be run by volunteers.  We’d also love you to be part of the team so if you can spare any time to help out please contact Ros on hello@striderscoffeeshop.com or speak to one of the staff while you’re enjoying your cuppa.

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome when you visit!
