A Community Church

We are not a church with a building with walls to contain what it does. We part of the community unreservedly and strive to serve to the best of our abilities. Whether it is running clubs for young people or children, providing space for those further on in life to enjoy each other’s company, or staging large scale community events such as our annual fireworks display and family fun days, we constantly seek to live out Christ’s love and compassion to everyone in all that we do.

55† Group

The church is open every second Wednesday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm for those who are 55 plus to meet together. The format will be very relaxed, a time to chat, catch up with friends, meet new people and bring friends along.

Life Talk

Maybe you have a question about life and faith and it would help to talk it through, an idea you would like to pass on, an issue you would appreciate help with, a struggle you need to share, or a need that should be prayed through, but you’ve been reluctant to bother anyone with it? Our pastors, Jarod and Andy want to give time to anyone in the congregation who would benefit from a listening ear, prayer and spiritual counsel. It may even be a friend who might appreciate such an opportunity. The Pastors have set aside time to book a slot with them for this purpose at specific times through the month.

Toddler Playgroup

Babies to pre-school, Tuesdays and Thursdays in term-time, 9.30-11.15am
The toddler playgroup provide opportunities for wee ones to have fun together with a variety of toys, both large and small. Children also enjoy a short story and a song time, while aduls just love the warm atmosphere and opportunity to form friendships.

JAM & Mini Jammers

Ages 3-P6, Sundays during morning service, 11am-12noon
On a Sunday morning, children worship with the whole church family for about 15 minutes before JAM (Jesus And Me) and Mini Jammers. Time flies by as we discover more of how to live as followers of Jesus and how God can help us in this. We do quizzes, explore the Bible, play games, go outside, learn memory verses!

Tea Time Together

First Saturday every month, 5pm-7pm
Enjoy time out as a family with folk of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents as we explore faith and have fun too! Tea Time Together is Messy Church at Bridge of Don Baptist and provides a way to allow God into the messiness of our lives. You’ll find a range of exciting activities, family games, a meal together and a short time of worship and celebration – all in just 2 hours!
